The other day, my boss told me i had to finish the work by the end of the day. so i was like 'seriously? by tonight?' and he was like 'yeah, you can handle it just fine, right?. so i was like 'uh sure' but inside i was like 'ugh.. i'm so done with this company'.

(아니 며칠 전에 직장 상사가 나보고 오늘 안으로 그 일을 끝내놓고 가라는거야 그래서 '내가 진짜요?오늘까지요?' 했지 상사가 '어. 할 수 있잖아아 그치?' 그러는거야 그래서 내가 '아 그럼요' 했지 근데 속으로는 막 '아 진짜 이놈의 회사 지긋지긋하다' 이랬어)

 

2. 문장 만들기 

yesterday, i met a friend i went to elementary school with. she was like ' actually, i had a crush on you back then.' so i was like 'relly? why didn't you tell me at the time?' and she was like ' i was too shy. how could i say that?' then i was like 'actually. i liked you too. but now i have a girl friend.' though, honestly i don't have a girl friend. 

( 어제 나는 초등학교를 같이 다닌 친구를 만났어. 그녀가 '나 사실 저는 좋아했어'라고 말했어. 그래서 내가 '정말? 왜 그때 나한테 말 안했어?'라고 했어. 그랬더니 그녀가 '부끄러워서 어떻게 말해'라고 했어. 그래서 나는 '나도 사실 너를 좋아했어. 하지만 나는 지금 여자친구가 있어'라고 말했어. 하지만 사실은 나는 여자친구가 있진 않아. )

3. 체크체크 

-단수 복수 / a friend. 

-crush on  : 누군가에게 연애 감정을 느끼는 것을 의미. 

-then / at the time 

then : 과거의 특정 시점을 간단히 언급할 때 사용. 

at the time : 특정 시점에 있었던 상황이나 사건을 강조할 때 사용. 좀 더 구체적인 맥락이 필요할 때 적합. 

-how could '어떻게 ~할 수 있겠어?'라는 의미.
